Liddy has 20 years as a founder, investor and management in early stage startups. Liddy is co-founder of Yuuwa Capital LP, a $40 million venture capital fund established under the Australian Government Innovation Investment Fund (IIF) program. Yuuwa’s investment focus is biotechnology and IT. Liddy is on the board of various Yuuwa investee companies including ASX listed AdAlta Limited (ASX:1AD), AgWorld Pty Ltd and Nexgen Plants Pty Ltd. Liddy is on the Board of the Ear Science Institute Australia.
Liddy is a co-founder of Dimerix Limited (ASX:DXB) and also a co-inventor on the DMX-200 patents that are in Phase 2/3 clinical trials for kidney diseases and more recently global trials in COVID-19 patients funded by international group REMAP-CAP. She was a co-founder of iCeutica Inc group (acquired) and Argus Biomedical Pty Ltd (acquired). Before working with start-ups Liddy was an Associate Director, Macquarie Bank focusing on mergers and acquisitions based in Sydney and Toronto. She has been admitted as a barrister and solicitor in various Australian jurisdictions.
